#$@! Electrical Specifications #5

Here is another one designed to shift the electrical engineer’s responsibility to the electrical contractor.

“In general all major equipment will be specified to be factory prewired with only service and interlocking required at the site by the Electrical Contractor; however he shall check all divisions of the specifications to verify if the equipment is specified factory prewired and if not, then it shall be the
responsibility of the Electrical Contractor to provide the complete wiring of the equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, and temperature control drawings provided by the other contractors and/or the Owner, to the Electrical Contractor.”

What do you think? Should this be our responsibility?
