Why a BLOG?

I had been looking for a place to discuss electrical estimating for years, without much success. My son-in-law (a web developer) suggested that I start writing electrical estimating articles in a blog. So here it is. I hope you enjoy.

The Picture

The picture above is of one of my favorite places, Rainbow Falls. It is in the High Sierras, on the middle fork of the San Joaquin river. The water comes from snow pack and glaciers you can see from the river. Take a close look at the right hand side - that's me getting out of the water after swimming under the falls. Cold is an understatement.
